Through the Window

MAY 21-JUNE 3
FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS 2:30-7:30

Through the Window is an exhibition based on the ideas of the public. Passersby on Summit Avenue left their answers to the question "What do you want to see through this window?" on scraps of trash, sticky notes, and social media.

The architecture and location of ShuaSpace allow it to function as a semi-public art space. This project seeks to create an exchange of ideas, engaging the perspective of the immediate community, and interpreting individual visions through the curatorial lens.

The exhibition features photographs by Abib Ascencio, creator of the Jersey City Made Me project, sculpture by Sam Pullin, installation by Allison Remy Hall and Andrew Emmet, and a large canvas by New York graffiti legend Ree.
